All about Dirty Water

Dirty Water is a hilarious improvised comedy about the fun-loving wise-cracking regulars of the Dirty Water bar. Audiences witness a night in the life of the bar's patrons and experience the characters' lives and world views as they discuss, debate and dissect a variety of topics. World politics, the morality of dating your best friend's sister, the worst Red Sox trade of all time or remaking Top Gun, they're all fair game during this conversational thrill-ride. Dirty Water has received praise from audiences and critics alike, including being named "Best of the Fringe" by the Chicago Tribune. Dirty Water is produced by Wicked Good Productions.

History of the Dirty Water Shot

The $1 Dirty Water shot is made with lemonade, vodka and amaretto. It was an original creation of the Town Hall Pub that was first called a "Sewer Shot" because of its unattractive color (plus, it sounds kind of bad-ass). Dirty Water's success at the pub combined with the fact that no one wants to take a shot from the sewer led to its renaming in July 2005. Though its name and color don't lend themselves to quality liquor experiences, the Dirty Water shot is actually quite delicious. If you haven't tried it yet, you must!
